Michael K. Tateishi
For over 20 years, Michael K. Tateishi has devoted his career to the representation of clients in personal injury matters in Hawaii. He handles personal injury matters including auto and truck accidents, dental and medical malpractice, product liability, and wrongful death matters.
A native of Hawaii, Mr. Tateishi began his legal career with the Office of the Public Defender in Honolulu, representing criminal defendants. He excelled as a Public Defender, and after only three years was promoted to Supervising Attorney for the County of Maui. Mr. Tateishi then shifted his focus from criminal to civil law when he began working for a Honolulu personal injury law firm. He later opened the Law Office of Michael K. Tateishi, representing victims of personal injury, and was also a principal in Tateishi & Apo, Attorneys, A Law Corporation. Mr. Tateishi now focuses solely on representing plaintiffs in personal injury matters, as a principal at Tateishi & Pascual.
Mr. Tateishi was born in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1952. He received a Juris Doctor degree from Gonzaga University Law School in 1977 and was admitted to the Hawaii State Bar in 1977. He holds both a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a Bachelor's degree in Education, from the University of Hawaii in 1974.
An experienced trial attorney, Mr. Tateishi has appeared before the First Circuit Court in Honolulu, the Second Circuit Court in Maui, the Third Circuit Court in Kauai, Fifth Circuit Court in Hawaii, the Hawaii Supreme Court, the U.S. Federal District Court, and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is also a member of multiple professional organizations, including being a Sustaining Member of the American Association for Justice (formerly the Association of Trial Lawyers of American (ATLA)), Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, Million Dollar Advocates Forum, Consumer Lawyers of Hawaii, American Bar Association, Hawaii State Bar Association, American Civil Liberties Union, Trial Lawyers for Public Justice, and the Court Annex Arbitration Panel, as an appointed Mentor by the Hawaii State Supreme Court.

Glen R. Pascual
For over a decade, Glen R. Pascual, a principal of Tateishi & Pascual, has represented clients in personal injury and wrongful death matters. He represents clients suffering from injuries sustained as a result of auto and truck accidents, dental and medical malpractice, and product liability. Mr. Pascual also has extensive experience representing the families of those who have died as a result of the negligence of another party in wrongful death actions.
Mr. Pascual is a native of Maui, having been born in Wailuku in 1971 and raised in Lahaina. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Washington in 1997 and a Bachelor of Arts degree with Distinction in Political Science from the University of Hawaii in 1993 and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Lahainaluna High School in 1989. Mr. Pascual is admitted to practice in the State of Hawaii.
Mr. Pascual maintains membership to many professional organizations, including the Maui County Bar, Hawaii State Bar Association, American Bar Association, Consumer Lawyers of Hawaii, and the American Association for Justice (formerly the Association of Trial Lawyers of American (ATLA)).
Wilton A. H. Leauanae
Wilton A. H. Leauanae is a litigation paralegal with Tateishi & Pascual. He was born in New Zealand and raised in Los Angeles. Mr. Leauanae conducts legal research, and drafts legal pleadings, demand letters, and deposition summaries, while also providing overall litigation support.
Mr. Leauanae received a Juris Doctor degree from Brigham Young University in 2001, where he was the editor of the Brigham Young Journal of Education and Law. He also holds a Master of Public Administration (2001) and a Bachelor of Arts degree (1997) from Brigham Young University.
